THE BACKSTORY
Back on November 1, 2015 and every week until January 4, 2016, we have shared 3 free patterns from MODA on our BLOG every Sunday Morning
These 6" block patterns were created for you by the folks at MODA FABRICS. These blocks were designed to increase piecing skills and maybe help you add new techniques to your quilting experience. That will depend on where you are in your quilting journey. I learned enough making my sampler blocks to be able to say that I am a better at piecing than I was when I started my first blocks on back on Halloween night 2015. I still have plenty to learn, that is for sure and that ever expanding capacity to learn, share and build skills is one of the reasons I love quilt making so much.

IF you want to play for a prize we are having“shuffle contest” -THE SAMPLER SCRAMBLE– All you need to do is design and create your own original layout, or setting, for your 30 MODA Sampler Shuffle Blocks.
We will need a photo of your pieced quilt top* showcasing the way you set your sampler blocks together. *Your quilt top does NOT have to be quilted to enter your photo for a prize.
You can submit your photo entry just as soon as you have it taken- Today even!
You will have all the way until March 1st, 2015 to submit your photo entry, (3-1-2016 last day to enter the Scramble)
We will let the voting take place for a few weeks and tally the totals.
THE WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN BY OUR VIEWERS
All the photo entries we receive will be posted in a gallery. The viewers on the BLOG and Facebook will vote on their favorite layout. The original quilt layout(setting) with the most viewer votes will win a prize: First prize will be a delicious bundle of MODA Fat Quarters! Oh Boy! We will award prizes for 2nd and 3rd place too. Viewer voting can begin as soon as start recieving entries
