I finished my first block for my Lots of Love quilt. The pattern is by Tamara Kate and you can get this free pattern at the Micheal Miller website. Thank you Tamara and Micheal Miller! I picked out fabrics; red and white Marble Swirls from MODA , and since there are some 60 degree triangles to cut, I like to use a 60 degree ruler to keep things quick and accurate. My favorite go to ruler is this 8/12" Sixty degree ruler from Creative Grids.
Oh! also be sure to lay in a supply of Valentine chocolates to enhance your quiltmaking experience. This is a pretty block that goes together easily...I think I will make some hearts with blue fabrics too!
